Regular and timely maintenance is essential to keep your new Chausson Motorhome in good working order, and to ensure that the manufacturer’s warranty remains valid.

Your Chausson Motorhome has two main parts, the habitation, (living) area, and the chassis / mechanicals, which is usually either a Fiat Ducato or a Ford Transit.

The habitation warranty is for 2 x years, plus an additional 5 x years provision for water ingress, providing there has been a regular and timely service / inspection (annually) completed by a Chausson Dealer.

The servicing requirement after the first 2 x years can be reduced to a damp inspection only for the remaining 5 x years, providing it`s completed by a Chausson dealership.

The inspections are detailed and comprehensive and require the vehicle to be emptied of personal equipment before they can be serviced or inspected.

This is however a great opportunity to check through the equipment you have on-board and decide whether it is still needed.

There are many advantages of using genuine Fiat and Ford workshops for servicing and inspecting your Chausson motorhome, especially in the early years (the warranty years). These workshops have the ability to update the software on your motorhome and to receive early notification of any recall notices.
