| The Swift Accord 500 is a 4 x berth Caravan ( Based on the Swift Charisma 550 ) with a fixed end bed, and adjacent washroom, a well equipped `mid` kitchen, a forward lounge with two bench sofas directly opposite each other, with a table and drawers facility at the forward end.
This one has had one private owner from new, and is in immaculate condition. Its also fitted with the 12 volt electric remote controlled `Movers` which make manoeuvring the Accord a simple task, whatever the surroundings or terrain.
Step in to the Accord 500 on the near-side through the stable style door and the lounge area is on your left, the kitchen / galley area just opposite, and the rear fixed bed and washroom away to your right... Every where feels light and open and with two large Hekki roof-lights is easy to see why.
The two sofas at the front end are comfortable, and offer lots of valuable storage space beneath.. As single beds they measure ::: 6` 3” x 2` 4” .. ( 1900 mm x 720 mm ) .. and 5` 6” x 2` 4” .. ( 1670 mm x 720 mm ) .. and as a double bed .. 6` 10” x 5` 6” .. ( 2080 mm x 1670 mm ) .. Above the sofas are many overhead lockers for all your storage needs, there is also a JVC Radio Single CD player so you can play your favourite tunes.
The table over storage drawers at the front end can `extend` , perhaps for a game of cards, or for the evening meal, although the Accord comes complete with a large `free-standing` table thats equally up to that task either inside the van, or weather permitting outside for the barbecue ! .. it also stores neatly out of the way in a slimline cupboard alongside the kitchen appliances.
The kitchen itself has plenty of storage above and below, and offers a three x way “Thetford” fridge with a freezer compartment, a stainless steel sink with cover- should you need more worktop space, a “Stoves” three burner hob and electric hot-plate, with a grill and separate oven as well... A roof mounted ventilation fan which can bring in fresh air or expel cooking smells has three speeds for an efficient function.
Theres a cupboard between the kitchen and the rear sleeping area, which enables you to locate a tv here and swivel it forward if your in the front, and back if your in bed and want to watch the evening film ! .. A status telescopic aerial with 12 x volt booster is also fitted to optimise the tv signal reception... The Swift Accord has three mains electric, 2 x 12 volt, and two TV Co-axial sockets fitted.
The double bed is comfy and measures a wopping : 6` 6” x 4` 6” :: ( 1980 mm x 1380 mm ).. and the bed top will easily lift to reveal a huge storage area which can also be accessed from the outside, for simple loading / unloading........ Adjacent to the sleeping area is a wash-basin with large mirrors behind, and a storage cabinet for medical items... There is also a shower with a screen not a curtain, and a “Thetford” chemical toilet as well, with electric flush....
Theres also a dividing partition between the front and back of the van, so privacy can be maintained if required.
The Swift Accord has dual fuel for both its water heating and space heating, so it can function efficiently whether your on mains hook-up or not. The “Truma Ultraheat” space heater uses a blown – air system so the heat is gentle and evenly distributed throughout the caravan.
This Accord has a smoke alarm, a safe deposit box, and of course the `Movers` already mentioned.
