This Cipro ..( C.I. `s `Flag-Ship` of the Caravans International range of motorhomes ) is based on the wonderful Mercedes Benz 316 chassis, and has the oh so powerful 2.7 Common Rail Diesel, so long winding hill climbs, bring `em on !!!
Its level of specification is superior to most of the similarly priced competition in the market place... And its driveability ... a joy.
This one is the 4 x berth, `Low-Profile` .. Fixed End Bed version, .. The Double Bed Measures 1980 mm x 1360 mm .. ( 6` 6" x 4` 5" ) .. with a forward lounge that converts to another double bed when required... This one measures : 2160 mm x 1280 mm .. ( 7` 1" x 4` 2" ) ... In this forward area there are many storage cupboards and shelves for all your collectables, there is a TV shelf, and with the front cab chairs both swivelling around, whether your dining or relaxing and putting your feet up, your in comfortable surroundings...
For the chefs among us the kitchen is well equipped, and sensibly laid out. Firstly there is a Smev 4 x burner hob, grill and oven. There is an extractor over the hob with some down lighting, a stainless steel sink and drainer, and a pull out two shelf drawer that enables you to utilise that space normally wasted under the sink area...A large 3 x way larder style fridge and seperate freezer, provide additional storage opportunities, and help minimise the frequent visits to the camp shop !...
The washroom has a sliding door which reveals a well laid out washroom, with a wash-basin and cabinets just inside the door. Then there is the Thetford chemical cassette toilet, and then a seperate shower cubicle with plastic opaque door... Again the storage cupboards / cabinets are plentiful ...
The cab feels ergonomically sound with everything, conveniently located with the driver in mind. There is remote control central door locking, electrically operated windows, and electric mirrors... And on the music front there is a radio single CD player.
Outside the Cipro you`ll find a convenient storage locker on the near-side which gives you access to the under-bed storage area.... There is also an external pull-out drawer, heavy duty, for all the tools the chaps want to take a long ! ... Ideal i guess for anything you might ordinarily carry around in the boot of your car. A spare fuel can and torch, in case the navigator runs you out of fuel ! ...
