The Auto-Sleeper Gatcombe is a high quality two berth coachbuilt motorhome, with a rear kitchen / corner washroom, and two bench sofas down each side of the vehicle. Naturally at night time these two sofas can be converted into two single beds or a large double.....Heres how they measure >> ..
Single Bed Off / Side :: 1850 mm x 710 mm .. ( 6` 1" x 2` 4" ) Single Bed Near / Side :: 1870 mm x 680 mm .( 6` 2" x 2` 3" ).. and as a double bed .. 1800 mm x 1330 mm .. ( 5` 11" x 4` 4" ) ..
The two bench sofas down either side of the Gatcombe, are comfortable, and give the vehicle an `open` feeling and spaciousness, so whether your relaxing with a good book, or taking an afternoon `siesta` or you have converted the sofas into bed space, comfort is the watch word !
The Gatcombe is made from a monocoque glass-fibre construction, which means its extremely strong, and yet light weight. Its also less likely to suffer from damp ingress later on in life... its base vehicle is the ever popular Volkswagen T4 SWB, face-lifted chassis cab, with a powerful 2.5 TD i engine, and 5 x speed manual gearbox.....
The entry door for the habitation is at the back on the near-side.... Once inside .. kitchen is across the back of the vehicle, and includes a Caprice 4 x burner gas hob, grill and oven... There is also a sink with draining board and lots of cupboard space....The fridge is a large `3 x way` Electrolux with full width freezer compartment........
The washroom has a shower , with washbasin and a Thetford chemical cassette toilet.....theres also a medicine cabinet....
