The Mondeo Ghia Estate is a smooth, comfortable passenger vehicle, but with the practicality of vehicles much larger than itself...The rear seats can be folded flat once the rear seat squab has been folded forward, to reveal a load length of some 6 x feet..Its huge !
It has a 2.0 Diesl engine which produces 130 BHP, so its no slouch, it will pick up quickly when required and can cruise very comfortably with `Cruise-Control` if required..... The six speed gearbox enables the engine to run within its optimum `torque band` so engine responce is always impressive, and economy never seemingly falling below 40 miles per gallon..
This Mondeo has rake, height, and reach adjustments for the front seats, and the driver also has an adjustable steering wheel, so comfort is assured...It also has ABS brakes and front and side air-bags as well...so safety is being looked after as well.
There`s a multi-play in-dash CD player, Climate control, electrically adjustable and folding door mirrors, remote control central door locking, electrically operated windows, rubber and carpet mats, and a rubber `boot-liner`... So as you can imagine is very well kept, well appointed vehicle.
With winter about to do its worst over the next three to four months, its also reassuring to know that with front wheel drive you`ve got good grip. You`ve also got the added benefit of a heated front screen, so whether you`re driving through freezing fog, or simply trying to de-frost the car in the early morning, the Heated Front Screen will clear your front ice - covered windscreen within about 2 minutes of start-up.
