The 2007 Jamboree Leisure Weekend at Detling, nr Maidstone

T. C. Motorhomes will be exhibiting the new range of C.I. Motorhomes, Rollerteam Motorhomes, the Romahome range of vehicles, and a fine selection of Pre-Owned Motorhomes and Caravans as well, we hope to see you there !!
The Jamboree is held annually at the Kent County Showground, Detling, Nr Maidstone, Kent; probably the finest showground in the country and one of the best venues in the south of England. The showground offers superb facilities to both exhibitors and visitors, with purpose built shower and toilet blocks, dog walking facilities and electric hook-up provisions for both ralliers and exhibitors. The showground is situated in the heart of Kent, very close to an excellent motorway network and has over 30 acres of car parking space.

The Jamboree is not the normal kind of leisure show. It is widely recognised as the number one family friendly show and is marketed as such. We pride ourselves on providing the renowned atmosphere at the show, that makes our campers and day visitors return year after year and we give more to our visitors than any other show.

2007 will again see the size of the show increasing, and already we have allocated more of the showground over to exhibition areas giving more motorhome and caravan dealers the opportunity to join the event, showing more vehicles than ever before.

Exhibitors are able to choose their pitch, either on grass or hardstanding, or if you would prefer to be inside, we have hundreds of stands available in the Kent Pavillion; a newly built permanent exhibition building.

2007 sees the return of the hugely popular Craft Fair, Food Hall, Shopping Arcade and Accessories areas, all contained within the huge walls of the Kent Pavillion. 2006 saw this building full of exhibitors and the through-put of visitors was fantastic.

With the size of the Jamboree exhibition area growing, more exhibitors will have the chance to join the event, showing more exhibits and offering more services than ever before. There will be a superb display of motorhomes and caravans, together with all manner of extras and goodies from the selection of other accessory exhibitors and services suppliers. There will also be a fantastic selection of other leisure interest displays including home interests, furniture, diy products, gardening products etc.

If you are in the Leisure Industry, or have a product or service that is used by motorcaravanners, caravanners, campers, home owners, gardeners, young or old, it is a must for you to exhibit your product at the 2007 Jamboree, where more space is allocated to the exclusive needs of the market that is available at most of the other industry events.

The real difference between the Jamboree Weekend and all the other shows is that unlike all the other shows, admission to day visitors is absolutely free of charge! This encourages more of them to attend the show and they can even park their cars free of charge as well! As well as day visitors, the Jamboree attracts thousands of campers on site for the whole weekend (Thursday until Monday).
As well as free entry, free car parking and competitive camping rates, ralliers (and exhibitors!) from all over Europe will be able to attend the event and enjoy three days of free family fun with non-stop entertainment from morning until night.

The 2005 Jamboree saw entertainment including Santus Circus, The Drifters, Edison Lighthouse, Danny Williams and the WorldFamous Fantastic Reeling and Rocking Show featuring Dave Berry, Brian Poole, and many, many more…..and in 06 in addition to Santas Circus, we had Vanity Fare, Black Onyx, Swinging Blue Jeans, and the fabulous Rat Pack as well.

For many, the Jamboree will be the first opportunity of the year to see the very latest 07 model motorhomes from CaravansInternational , which this year includes a number of new brand new models, many of which are on the all-new Fiat Ducato  X2 / 50 chassis featuring ABS brakes, drivers air-bag, cruise control and electric windows and mirrors as standard equipment.
T C Motorhomes have recently secured the “Rollerteam” product which will be based on the award winning Ford Transit chassis and hope to have some of these motorhome models on show as well, including the Autoroller 200 from just £25995.00 on the road.

In addition the class leading Trigano Tribute is now offered with a big brother !.........two models now offered ….the Tribute 550 and the Tribute 650, the 650 offers more space, a separate shower and washroom, and a large larder fridge with separate freezer.

For others, it will be a fantastic opportunity to consider holidays for years to come. Our aim is to once again increase attendance by arranging the best possible atmosphere, entertainment and value for money. Over one million items of advertising were distributed for the 2006 event and the amount of 2007 Jamboree literature sent out is set to increase. Our PR and advertising campaign is already well under way.

Since the first Jamboree, ralliers, day visitors and exhibitors have been returning to the event and it is getting bigger and better every year. The 2007 show will be no exception and we are already overwhelmed by the response to our early advertising. The Jamboree has been acclaimed by the industry, the press and the public, as a show without parallel.

The 2007 Jamboree Leisure Weekend is set to be the event of the year. Motorcaravanners, caravanners and campers will be able to stay on site from Thursday until Monday. Already, many of the national and regional owners clubs have confirmed their reservations and have been allocated special areas for their group or club.
